Justice T. NGOM
Research Scientist
Cape Town, South Africa
Justice N is a research scientist (human & animal) with extensive experience in infectious disease epidemiology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and genomics of pathogens such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, HIV, and viral zoonoses.
Leveraging his proficiency in R, Python, and Unix, he has dedicated his career to bridging molecular biology methods with bioinformatics tools to understand the genomics, epidemiology, and evolution of pathogens, along with their resistance mechanisms. He is driven by a firm conviction to enhance molecular surveillance of strains and to accelerate the development of rapid molecular diagnostic methods, thereby providing early epidemic warnings and guiding targeted responses.
